Barbosa MURDERS the Bulls

By Matt Blake, January 2nd, 2007 11:25 PM

WOOOOOW! Leandro Barbosa just knocked down a three with 1.3 seconds left in the game to defeat the Bulls after being down literally the entire game. Since the game was 12-10, the Suns were down, only coming back to defeat the Bulls at the very end of the game. What a clutch shot by Mr. Barbosa. The future 2007 sixth man of the NBA won the game for the suns with 20 points and great defense on Bet Watson when it mattered most in the final seconds of the game.

Amare also played a great game, keeping the Suns in the game with his offensive rebounds and reckless abandon in the clutch. So, now that it is 2007, it is finally official. Amare Stoudamire is back in the NBA at full force and the teams of the West had better watch out. The suns are almost unstoppable. 2007 is the year.

On a completely separate note, WHAT A GAME LAST NIGHT! The sports side of my brain is overloaded with greatness right now. I have spent the last three days around Tempe and Downtown Phoenix, and saw more orange and blue than I ever care to see again. The Tempe block party was overridden with Boise State fans, and frankly, the team did not disappoint. Delivering the best Fiesta Bowl game of all time, the Broncos pulled out three trick plays in a row to win the game. Does Michael Bidwill have the number to reach Boise State head coach Chris Peterson? That is the kind of offense the Cardinals need.

On another completely separate note, know who is a former Boise State head coach? Mr. Dirk Koetter.
