Every week I will bring you the Rising Sun of the week. The Phoenix member who played the best basketball of the week for the Suns. I judge on how much he averaged over his normal averages.
For example, Nash averages 11 assists. I would look to see if he averages over that amount of assists.

This weeks winner is none other then Amare Stoudemire.
He helped lead the Suns to a 4-0 week.
He averaged 20 points, 12 rebounds, 2.8 blocks and 1.6 steals per game. Also hitting 79% of his free-throws.Lets compare those numbers with his averages…..

That gives him a total of 10.6 improvement in his overall numbers. Congratulations to Amare for being the hottest Sun of the week.
