Nationals signed infielder Tony Womack to a minor league contract and invited him to spring training.
Womack actually hit better than his career numbers in brief stints with the Cubs and Reds last season, batting .265/.342/.353 in 68 at-bats. He hit just .249/.276/.280 with the Yankees in 2005. The Nationals should be able to do better. Read more at Rotoworld.com
