There is a reason behind those titles, and it showed on the court last night. The Suns torched the Wizards 76-51…IN THE FIRST HALF! So much for his personal vendetta against Mike D’Antoni and the rest of the coaching staff of Team USA. It is ironic to me that he tries to prove he should be in their “team” atmosphere by throwing up fifty points.

But I digress. The Suns played an excellent game and it just seems like they are coasting to the playoffs. I worry sometimes that they might get to lax and get derailed by an injury or something else of the like, but these Suns are driven to win. Steve wants to take out the Mavericks more than anything, and Amare and Shawn will be damned before they sacrifice all this pride for anything less than a ring on their finger.

The Suns continue their road trip tonight and they will face the Knicks, but it is going to be difficult to do anything but overlook this trip and see what is on the horizon. The Suns face the San Antonio Spurs at home when the road trip is complete.

On a completely separate note, when is Steve Nash going to cut his hair? And I do not say this in a negative fashion, but instead, on a concerned note. He shaved his head after last years playoff loss, so is he rebirthing himself and he won’t cut it until we win a championship? Is he just trying to maintain a normal standard for hair? I realize that this is not important in the least, but Steve Nash and his hair are an enigma to society. Maybe this new hair that he is regrowing will be the key to our championship season.

With that. Raja Bell and Leandro Barbosa need to decide which of them gets a little hair and which of them goes totally shaved because it is nearly impossible to tell them apart without HD. Amare should grow an afro again and Shawn is just shawn. Pat Burke should stop shaving his head and just embrace whatever it is that is up there. And the coach…

D’Antoni is doing just fine with his porn ’stache.
