Jalen Rose will likely become the ninth man in the Suns’ rotation this week, replacing Eric Piatkowski.

Rose will still not offer fantasy value, but could limit the minutes of James Jones, who also doesn’t have value. Coach Mike D’Antoni says his team is not playing hard enough, and is hoping that adding Rose to the mix will get them back on track.

Coach D will bring some bite with his bark this week. I like it, but do the Suns really need it? No - but it will shake things up a bit and get the team back on track. Last week’s Mavs game was playoff caliber, played with playoff intensity and it definitely has showed in the aftermath. My take though, is that the Suns are just fine and they will be just fine. This team is destined for another clash with the Mavs come playoff time….
