The Phoenix Coyotes have four games remaining with two of the three teams out of the playoffs.

Tomorrow night they face the St. Louis Blues at home followed with a home-at-home series against the Los Angeles Kings. They finish the season out with the Vancouver Canucks and watch the second season of the NHL go on without them.

With the difficulty they have had winning games this season, the current try out of the younger players have me wondering which of the few they will keep, and which of the few needs seasoning.

Expectations were high in the Valley of the Sun and no matter what force of will was employed, the Coyotes just couldn’t get their act together. When the season officially concludes, I’ll weigh in from my rookie year and figure out where the Coyotes might go from here.
