And with a few swift words from his mouth, he declares…officially:

I've decided to move forward and put myself in the 2007 NBA Draft. I think the coaching staff believes in me. I think I'm ready. It's going to give me a lot of opportunities to give back to my community. It will put me, obviously, in a good financial pocket, but also I felt like it was time. It was a hard decision, but the coaching staff has been great. I had a lot of support from them, Coach O (Olson), Coach Ros (Rosborough), Miles (Simon), Josh (Pastner), everyone and the players. That's kind of where I'm at right now.

We all knew this was coming. Marcus led the team in points, was second in rebounds and shot 28.8% from 3-point land this season. On top of that, NBADraft.net has Marcus projected to go 21st in 2007 draft…to Washington. The money was hanging there and we all knew he was going to take it….Mmmmmm cold hard caaassshhhh.

He has an agent and the support of his coaches. So bye bye, Mr. Williams. Bye, bye Mr. NBA….Maybe next year, the Cats will actually play like a TEAM.
