Final Mock Draft

By fanster.com, April 27th, 2007 10:12 AM

Alright it’s Christmas Eve and it’s time for me to turn in my final mock draft. I’ve researched and studied for months and still don’t have the answers to what team is going to do what, but I do have a good idea. Last year I was near perfect with my mock draft, this year I don’t feel quite as confident. There are so many trade possibilities and crazy owners that could throw a wrench in my mock draft. The key to the draft is the Cleveland Browns pick at #3. The Browns will be selecting either Adrian Peterson, Brady Quinn, or Joe Thomas. The next 7 picks will be severely changed based on what Cleveland does. But enough talk here is my final mock draft…

1. Oakland Raiders - QB JaMarcus Russell, LSU
2. Detroit Lions - WR Calvin Johnson, Georgia Tech , Could see Tampa or Atlanta Trade to here
3. Cleveland Browns- QB Brady Quinn, Notre Dame
4. Tampa Bay - DE Gaines Adams, Clemson
5. Arizona - T Joe Thomas, Wisconsin
6. Washington - DT Amobi Okoye, Louisville
7. Minnesota - RB Adrian Peterson, Oklahoma
8. Atlanta - S LaRon Landry, LSU
9. Miami - T Levi Brown, Penn State
10. Houston - CB Leon Hall, Michigan, could see Houston and Buffalo switch places but take same players
11. San Francisco - DE Jamaal Anderson, Arkansas
12. Buffalo - MLB Patrick Willis, Mississippi
13. St. Louis -CB Darrelle Revis, Pittsburgh
14. Carolina - TE Greg Olson, Miami- look for Reggie Nelson here
15. Pittsburgh - DE Adam Carriker, Nebraska
16. Green Bay - RB Marshawn Lynch, California
17. Jacksonville - S Reggie Nelson, Florida
18. Cincinnati - DT Alan Branch, Michigan
19. Tennesse - WR Robert Meachem, Tennessee
20. NY Giants - CB Aaron Ross, Texas
21. Denver - OLB Lawrence Timmons, Florida State - Might see Ted Ginn picked here
22. Dallas - WR Ted Ginn Jr. , Ohio State
23. Kansas City - OT, Joe Staley, Central Michigan
24. New England LB, Paul Posluszny, Penn State
25. NY Jets - LSU DE Jarvis Moss, Florida
26. Philadelphia - S, Brandon Meriweather, Miami
27. New Orleans - CB Chris Houston, Arkansas
28. New England - S Michael Griffin, Texas
29. Baltimore - G, Ben Grubbs, Auburn
30. San Diego - WR Dwayne Bowe, LSU
31. Chicago - WR Dwayne Jarrett, USC
32. Indianapolis - DT, Justin Harrell, Tennessee

As for the Cardinals Second Round look for CB Eric Wright to be the pick or Tony Ugoh if Peterson is selected at #5. But again we never know someone might drop.
