Here’s the deal.  Mike D’Antoni has decided he’s tired and wants to give up being the GM over the summer.  And he’s put you in charge.  What do you do?

Rules:  Your choices need to be able to happen in real life and need to be with players the Phoenix Suns currently have and with players other teams have.  And your managing partner, Robert Sarver, does not want to pay the luxury tax.  But the luxury tax doesn’t come into play until the trade deadline.  Other than that, the team is yours.

What do you do?  Keep everything exactly the same and see what’s happening with the team at the trade deadline?  Blow everything up and start over?  Something between the two?

The move that needs to be made is trading Marion to the Celtics for the Number 5 pick and Al Jefferson and Theo Ratliff. It gives the Celts the big splash they are looking for and gives the suns flexibility.
