Ala/armador passa por cirurgia após eliminação do Phoenix

RIO DE JANEIRO - O ala/armador Leandrinho, do Phoenix Suns, passou por uma cirurgia no cotovelo esquerdo na última segunda-feira. A gravidade da lesão não foi divulgada pelos médicos do hospital onde o brasileiro foi operado.

Leandrinho, que sofreu uma nítida queda de rendimento nas semifinais da Conferência Oeste, precisou utilizar uma proteção especial no cotovelo durante as partidas, o que pode explicar os problemas dentro de quadra. No último fim de semana, o brasileiro amargou a eliminação de sua equipe, que caiu nos playoffs diante do San Antonio Spurs.

We here at AzSportsHub aren’t gurus when it comes to foreign language but from what we have been told this article says that Leandro Barbosa has had or will have surgery in Brazil to relieve pain in his left elbow.

This is either a good thing because it explains the horrible shooting of Barbosa against the Spurs or it’s a bad thing because Barbosa now could become injury prone. Lets just hope the surgeons in Brazil are more skilled then Barbosa is at ball handling. Lets just pray there is no such thing as micro fracture surgery for the elbow.
