Pronger Suspended for One Game

By fanster.com, June 3rd, 2007 6:15 AM

The NHL has suspended Anaheim Ducks Defenseman Chris Pronger for one game for his elbow against Ottawa Senators Forward Dean McAmmond.

The NHL has stated in the past that they would penalize repeat offenders more harshly, so I don’t quite understand why Pronger would not get two games for his wayward elbow. Suppose if it were Chris Neil or Brad May, how much time would they have earned for the same infraction?

At any rate, Pronger will sit for game four Monday night.
