Interview with RotoRob - Rob Blackstien from RotoRob.com

06/18/07 12:04 PM

RotoRob at his finest

On this week’s edition of In The Zona, we had the great pleasure of interviewing fantasy guru RotoRob. We drilled him on anything and everything Dbacks fantasy baseball. Who will be the hottest Dback after the break? What Dbacks are 2nd half sleepers? Who should you sell high? or buy low?

Rob’s fantasy work has appeared on www.Rotoworld.com, www.USAToday.com, msn.foxsports.com, and www.CREATiVESPORTS.com. He’s worked on the last two Fantasy Baseball Guide magazines for Rotoman and also worked on this year’s Fantasy Football Guide magazine. He’s a Toronto-based freelance journalist and the principal of Pen-Ultimate (www.pen-ultimate.ca), a full-service writing and editing firm.

I’ve read Roto Bob’s articles before. He has some great insight into fantasy baseball. I followed his advice once before and it paid off big time for me.

I would love to see the DBacks trade for some young pitching. I take a look at San Diego’s team and I see a great staff. That is what wins pennants. Once in the playoffs, you never know what can happen. We need to build the young pitching the way the young hitting was done over the past drafts.
