A-Rod to the Diamondbacks?
That’s right. You heard it here second. A-rod could soon be living it up in the 115 degree heat:
Diamondbacks: They’ve expressed interest in trading for Rodriguez in the past. Josh Byrnes and Co. haven’t made a signing like this yet, but it could represent the next phase in their plan as their young team keeps getting stronger.
Yes thats right. MLBtraderumors.com gives us the scoop. Honestly I’m not sure whether this is a legit rumor or simply hypothesis.
Either way, it got me thinking…what IF A-Rod did come to the Dbacks? Can you see it now? A young lineup that is only missing one thing: A power Bat. You put A-Rod in the cleanup spot and you are ready to rock and roll.
How sick would that team be with A-Rod in the thick of things? Talk about a young talented lineup.
The one problem: Money. But…you never know!
