The Phoenix Coyotes resign Brendan Bell to a one year deal and according to the Arizona Republic, the financial terms were not disclosed.

Therefore, both players that elected arbitration this year will not need it as both parties agreed to the contract terms.

Arbitration can be messy for both parties and it’s a good thing that the Coyotes were able to avoid it this year. However, I think Bell is very fortunate that he was able to find a compromise with the club because after the trade deadline he was the weakest defenseman on the ice.
