We didn’t shed a tear when Thom Brennaman left town for his dad and Cincinnati. As a matter of fact we were happy to see him go. His style of broadcasting and talking down to the viewer bothered us and apparently we aren’t alone. According to AOL FanHouse there is at least one family that doesn’t like Thom or his father Marty and that family happens to be Adam Dunn’s:
“It bothers my mom more than me,” Dunn said. “My family hates the Brennamans (broadcasters Marty and Thom) and Jeff Brantley. If George Grande and Chris Welsh aren’t doing the television games, they won’t watch. That’s sad.”
Not really Arizona sports and quiet frankly not even sports but we found it funny none the less.
