So it’s that time of year again, it’s time for the Madden rankings for your favorite player. This is the time of year every fan has high hopes for his or her team and the Madden rankings can help fuel those hopes or crush fans dreams (OK so not really but it’s fun to act as if Madden is the end all be all).

The Cardinals rankings in Madden ‘08 are about what you would expect them to be. Some of the highlights are Wilson is the highest with a 97, Fitz and Boldin both ranking at a 95, Berry at a 92, Edge with a 91, Rackers an 89, Okeafor an 88. If you run your offense like the real Cards you will be happy to know that Scott Player ranks a 91 so you can get off those booming punts to hold off your opponent. If you are like us you probably pass on every fourth down which means you won’t be happy with Matt Leinart is ranked an 84. That’s right he is only an 84 which puts him only 4 ranking points higher then Old Man Warner his back-up. I guess that means it will be another year of attempting to run the ball in Madden while throwing some bad passes to two of the top receivers in the game. Eh who cares 8 days til Madden comes out.
