I am Eric Byrnes. Are you?

Well…maybe, not so much me, but this guy Eric O’brien from Tucson, AZ is Eric Byrnes. He also got to meet him and appeared on The Eric Byrnes Show. I blogged about this a few weeks ago, when EB was having his look-a-like contest. I have to admit though, this guy is spot on. He is Eric Byrne’s look-a-like.

O’Brien will be featured on “The Eric Byrnes Show” at 7 p.m. Thursday on FSNA. On the show, Byrnes says O’Brien is a “mirror-image” and “it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen” as the two toured the Diamondbacks’ clubhouse. - From TucsonCitizen.com

The bottom line, is that the Dbacks were onto something with this marketing ploy. I still cannot fathom, how the valley’s new favorite player could be let go, after the Gonzo fiasco last year. Grandmothers’ everywhere have jumped off the bandwagon.

Eric Byrnes is bringing life back into the valley; he has his own TV show, his own look-a-like contest, and he’s even tossed his dog into McCovey Cove. On top of that, he’s having a career year. What more, does Diamondbacks management need? They will sign him.
