Joel Perrault Re-Signs with the Coyotes

Center Joel Perrault re-signs with the Phoenix Coyotes today for a one-year deal. Last season, he played 31 games with the Coyotes and scored two goals with three assists.

During the 2006-2007 campaign, the Coyotes placed Perrault on waivers where the St. Louis Blues claimed him. Then, the Blues released Perrault only to come back to Phoenix to finish the season with the franchise.

For both of his small stints with the Coyotes, he didn’t make too much of a dent in the offensive production. At best, he is a third - fourth line center that all teams need to round out their roster. However, it will be up to him to show the fans and the front office, exactly what he can do.
