That’s right Augie Ojeda the D-backs back up infielder had a better pitching performance against the Marlins Tuesday night then starter BK Kim and reliever Joe Kennedy. Ojeda went IP retiring the side in order in the bottom of the 8th. Kim started the game and lasted 1/3 of an inning giving up 4 hits, 4 runs, 3 Earned (like it matters if they were earned or not he gave up 4 hits) and a walk, leaving the game after just 17 pitches (Thanks for stopping by Bk enjoy your parting gift of $800K and a swift kick in the ass out of the majors).
Kennedy didn’t fair much better pitching 1/3 of an inning giving up 3 hits,6 runs, 6 earned runs, 2 walks, 3 hit batters (hey he tried to out do BK and did a very good job of it. At least he was intimidating and hit 3 guys).
When asked for comment after the game Manager Bob Melvin said Augie will get a shot at being the 5th starter along with the starters in Triple-A and Mark Grace. (Sarcasm Alert)
At least this brief stint with the D-backs will make people remember BK for something other then the 2001 World Series.
