I know that this could possible be a sore subject for Sabres fans, it would be for me if my captain got hit like that but you HAVE to see the humor in this. I remember the day like it was yesterday. There I was, waiting for my friends to pick me up for the Flames/Yotes game on February 22nd and watching Centre Ice… lo and behold Drury gets an ugly hit and I fly out of my seat. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Just as I began to calm down a bit (and the curse words stopped flying out) the fighting began. The players, the goalies, even the COACHES were brawling like no tomorrow. Once the shock began to wear off, I started laughing. To this day, I can watch this video 50 times in a row and LAUGH my ass off…
Cheers to good ole hockey fights… the Hanson brothers would be proud.
