The Rout is On, Team Canada Wins Again

By fanster.com, September 1st, 2007 11:52 AM

Team Canada won its fourth straight against Team Russia with a score of 4-2. Goaltender Steve Mason stopped 43 of 45 shots.

To clinch the series, Team Canada needs to win one of the next four, all of which will be played in Canada starting in Winnipeg on Tuesday night.

I’m sure our Canadian neighbors will still enjoy the lopsided series, but in Russia, I wonder what the mood is like seeing its team get bounced around like it has. I’m also speculating that the hockey development system in Russia will need some overhaul as they have been completely outmatched in this go around with Team Canada.
