2007 NFL Award Predictions
Award predictions for the 2007 NFL season
League MVP- Tom Brady, The Patriots are going to win a lot of games and with the new weapons Tom Brady has to throw to he should rack up plenty of yards and touchdowns.
Offensive Player of the Year- LaDainian Tomlinson, The 2006 NFL MVP will not be slowing down this year, another 1800+ yard season and 20+ touchdowns is very likely for Tomlinson.
Defensive Player of the Year- Shawne Merriman, Merriman led the league with 17 sacks last season while missing 4 games. What will he do with an extra 4 games.
Offensive Rookie of the Year- Adrian Peterson, The passing game is less than average for Minnesota so expect Peterson to get the necessary amount of carries to win the ROY award. Marshawn Lynch might make a run at this award but I think Peterson will edge him out.
Defensive Rookie of the Year- Patrick Willis, Willis should get plenty of playing time in San Francisco, tackles will come easy to a guy with his speed and strength.
Coach of the Year- Ken Whisenhunt, Who else am I going to pick! Im bias and it’s a tough award to pick. I gotta go with the coach of my team.
Comeback play of the year- Donovan McNabb, Donovan should come back very strong after his season ending leg injury in 2006.
Just to throw it in there I’m saying Matt Leinart makes the pro bowl for sure, Edgerrin James just sneaks at RB and either Boldin or Fitzgerald make it with one of them being an alternate. Adrian Wilson makes the pro bowl on defense and Neil Rackers makes it as the NFC kicker!
