Former UofA Wildcat Allegedly Beats Up Father

Who says kickers aren’t tough? According to Espn.com former Arizona Wildcat punter Danny Baugher, who was recently cut by the Patriots, allegedly assaulted his father. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant at 4 AM August 30th. (Didn’t Danny get the memo that nothing good happens after 2 AM in the morning or in the case of Tucson absolutely nothing happens except shootings after 2 AM in the morning?)

54 year old Erle Baugher, Danny’s father, was punched in the face during an altercation in their car according to the police report.

Danny, who was drunk during the alleged incident, pleaded not guilty to assault and battery charges and was released on the condition that he wouldn’t commit any other acts of domestic abuse.

This has got to be the most fired up any UofA player has been in the last 8 years. Maybe Mike Stoops needs to tell a few guys they are going to be cut before the game against NAU and hope they take it out on the Lumberjacks.

Hell we are still afraid of our father. Even at 54 our dad’s probably would have punch us right back in the face and then out punted us on the practice field the next day.

Just glad to see that Baugher is yet another UofA grad that we know who is currently unemployed. Bear Down on the unemployment line Danny and try to stay away from the mixture of your Dad and beer.
