Planet What?
I was wondering about a few things when it comes to the Phoenix Suns. With their Planet Orange announcement it brought a few concerns to mind. Does this mean that the Suns will no longer have their “Eyes on the Prize”? How can they win a championship if the prize isn’t always in mind. Does this mean the Trophy guy is dead, missing or does he get a visa to re-locate to this new “planet”? It may be time for VH1 to do a behind the sports marketing ploy and figure out what has happened to him since May.
Also does this mean the Suns will no longer be “Working hard and playing harder”? I mean if they don’t work hard in practice and play hard on the court how are they going to win on this planet or any other planet real or imagined?
Did the Suns create their own planet to ensure that they would be guaranteed a championship? And if there is no gravity on this orange planet doesn’t that benefit both teams…..The slogan should simply be Phoenix Suns Basketball….That’s it just the team name and a picture of Amare, Nash, Marion, Hill and Bell because if you can’t sell the Suns based on the fact that they are the Phoenix Suns then you are probably in the wrong business. It’s time for the season to start when the Phoenix Suns can do the talking and the marketing on the court.
