Block Party
It was great to walk out of the bar and see all the Patriots fans celebrating in the streets. We started walking to the stadium just to be closer to the celebration.
On the way, they were making Patriots Super Bowl hats. Well, to have one of the first ones off the press, I'll make room for number ten thousand
and one. This hat I would be proud to add to my collection.
Patriots fans and Eagles fans collided
Of course there were plenty occasions where Patriots fans and Eagles fans collided. The best fight of the night was between two women, a lot of kudos has to go out to the Jacksonville police, they kept everything pretty well under control.
The party in the street went on well into the morning hours. We manage to sneak into a private party and grab a couple of beers. The security was more on the street than around the tent.
I still don't know who hosted the party, but let me just say, "Thanks" for the beers.
A new tradition
On the way back to Daytona, we decided coming to the Super Bowl would be an annual event. We eventually made it back to the hotel after a couple of pit stops at some of Daytona's finer Gentlemen's club.
Let's just keep that short by saying you could tell it was off-season.
When we got back to the hotel, we looked up where the next couple of Super Bowls would be held. We all agreed that night; the plan was we would skip Detroit and start planning for Miami and Phoenix.
Next stop…..Miami!!
