Super Bowl Mike isn’t as young as he used to be!!!!!

So here I am getting all pumped up for the big trip, getting ready to play plenty of golf and walking from party to party. That was up until a day ago when there was a little father/son bonding. At my office we started a paintball league, at the time it sounded like a great idea. We had played a couple of times already, so I was ready to go on Tuesday night.

While charging a bunker, I went to slide and my sneaker stopped, but my knee didn’t! So as I sit here and type, I am waiting to go for my MRI!! This could put a big damper on the trip.

Nothing keeps Super Bowl Mike down…
Don’t get me wrong, I will still be at every event I can, but the golf situation is a little dicey. The worst part of this was when I was down on the paintball floor holding my knee, my co-workers took the opportunity to pelt me with paintballs.

So everyone had a great time today as I came into work on crutches. At least 15 people told me I was getting old, but the best comment was from my sister. The e-mail said, “Hey Nancy Kerrigan, how’s the knee?” If you don’t know who Nancy Kerrigan is do a Google search, and you are probably too young to be reading my blog.

So hopefully tonight I will find out that it is just a bad strain. Worst case would be an operation, only time will tell. I am just praying I don’t have to cancel those tee times!!
