If an NBA Game is Played on the NFL’s Conference Championship Sunday, Does Anyone Know?

Sadly, the answer is almost definitely a no. I knew the Suns were on but with eating too much food, drinking too much beer and watching too much mediocre football, I neglected to tune in.

Glad to see the Suns are continuing their hot streak and have seemed to figure out that beating bad teams isn’t as difficult as they’ve made it out to be.

Two quick notes/worthless observations even though like I said, I didn’t watch the game:

-20 more minutes for DJ (box.) I’m not sure I’m ready for this brave, new world where Coach D plays a rookie off the bench. Sure it was a blowout almost from the start but it’s clear he’s cracked the rotation at least for now.

The kid gets it: "I'm just trying to bring defense and run around and do whatever it takes to get minutes," he said. "We have so many scorers and playmakers out there, we just need someone to be out there dogging people on defense, diving around and doing the dirty work. That's perfect for me. Tonight was better than (Friday) and hopefully the next game is even better."

-Boris took 15 shots. One less than Amare. I’m practically without speech. When Diaw is aggressive the Suns are a well-oiled offensive machine. Like Coro said, a great game from Boris every other game sure beats the hell out of waiting 8 games for some effort.
