A massive tailgate party by the tailgaters, for the tailgaters, in Glendale Arizona for Super Bowl XLII!
Super ‘Gate 08 will:
- Give tailgaters a place to party before the biggest football game of the year.
- Celebrate hot trend of tailgating by bringing together tailgaters from teams across the NFL.
- Be a fun, interactive, event for the fans with contests, entertainment, and of course, tailgating!
- Provide a place to park, stay, and party for a minimal cost, and with minimal restrictions.
TONS of new information is going up on the website this weekend, so be sure to check it out and check it often. Here are the highlights:
The Schedule of Events has been updated, along with times and details for more of the events. If you have any questions about any of the events or competitions, drop us a line and we’ll try to get it answered ASAP! (Click here to send an email)
Maps and directions to the Super Gate 08 site have been posted under the FAQs question, “Where will Super Gate 08 be held”.
The Super Gate Site Map is now available to view, and registered attendees can put in requests for their exact sites. If you want to choose your neighbors, tell us now! These requests will be handled first come, first served.
We’ve still got Sites Available (only two Premiums)! Any Sites that are still open will be available until sold, although the prices will go up as soon as the event begins (Thursday @
El Monte RV still has some units available to rent locally in Phoenix, or you can rent one at home and drive it out. They’ve offered our attendees a discount, just enter the code supergate when you reserve online.
Media: We’ve had a ton of media requests from reporters wanting to interview fans/tailgaters who are coming out to Super Gate. If you’re interested, send me an email and I’ll hook you up (especially GIANTS fans???)
We’ve confirmed that
Day Of Game (DOG):
· Parking: If you’ve reserved a site, and plan to have friends join you on Super Bowl Sunday, that’s cool with us! Each Site will be given one of the spaces at the end of the aisles for car parking only. No tailgating will be allowed in these spaces. Additional spaces will be available for purchase DOG as space permits.
· Tailgating: If you look at the Site you will notice empty spaces that have been left open between the clusters of RV sites. These sites will be held open until Sunday morning, when they will be opened up for DOG tailgaters. Each car space will cost $30, but you’ll probably need to buy two if you’re setting up a tailgate. (One to park, one to party!)

After researching other Super Bowl sites, I realized there was not a whole lot of really useful information for football fans, locals, or those who may be traveling here to Arizona for NFL games, the BCS Fiesta Bowl and/or Super Bowl XLII.
I decided to create a site that I would want to check out, full of information from locals about the area and what is going on here, for NFL games or Super Bowl XLII, so AZ Super Bowl Blog was born.
