Well, although I am not physically in Arizona yet, I was there mentally as I was shoveling three inches of snow today. Yeah, 3 inches of snow is nothing, but with the winter we have had here in New England, it’s 3 more inches piled up on all the other snow from this winter! All I could think was in 6 days I will be playing golf at the Ranch de las Caballeros. After golf we will be running around to all the different events surrounding the Super Bowl.
I will say, I can’t wait to meet all the great people I have worked with through e-mail over the past few month. I’ve met so many great people in Arizona that I can’t wait to share a beer if we actually have time to sit down and relax.
Oh yeah, there is a football game too right? Of course there is, and my New England Patriots will be attempting to make history. Not a day goes by that I am not looking for tickets to the show. I know it will be a miracle, but hey I have to keep the dream alive until at least kick off time Sunday night. If I don’t make it to the show, I will be close enough to hopefully celebrate with all the Patriot fans as they come out of the stadium!
So Glendale, here we come! The plane lands at 4:15pm on Thursday, the first bash is Thursday night and we just keep on going from there. The good thing is it’s a long flight back to Manchester, NH so I will use that time to sleep!!
Check in for the Adventures of Super Bowl Mike, as he shares his long, long, LONG road to Super Bowl XLII in Glendale, Arizona February 3, 2008!
