Super Bowl Mike: Saturday, Golf at Golf at Rancho de los Caballeros and Penthouse Party
Saturday
Well waking up was pretty tough as the Big Game Bash Friday Night was open bar. We pretty much closed Margaritaville and had a
Golf at Rancho de los Caballeros
We somehow managed to make it down to breakfast and off to our second round at Rancho de los Caballeros. My brother-in-law Phil had the hardest time, which didn’t surprise me at all. While I was getting ready for bed at
When we got back to the hotel, I had a quick beer and knew I had to get some rest to get ready for the Penthouse party. After about a 2 hour cat-nap I was ready to go. Phil was hurting so bad, he decided to pass on this party and let my neighbor Don go instead. He had to be pretty hung-over to pass on the Penthouse Party, but Don was the happiest guy on the planet.
Penthouse Party
When we arrived at the party, we checked in and received our media passes. Open bar with beautiful woman walking around is never a bad thing. They also had a little fake casino set-up so you could win money to buy a raffle price. That turned out really big as Don won the second prize in the raffle, which was a custom painting by an artist who performed at the event. The woman told us it was valued at around $4,000. Not bad for a free ticket!!
The penthouse party lived up to all the pre-game hype. Snoop Dogg got on stage around
They had a few fun things going on and one I had to take advantage of. There was a temporary tattoo area set-up so I decided to talk to the woman. After little debate, she agreed to put, “I need super bowl tickets” on my forehead. It worked too, because I did get plenty of numbers throughout the night for potential tickets. The problem was, the still wanted over $2000 a ticket. The fun part was all the woman who wanted to take their picture with me! Who am I to say no!!
Again, another party where we didn’t get back to the hotel until

After researching other Super Bowl sites, I realized there was not a whole lot of really useful information for football fans, locals, or those who may be traveling here to Arizona for NFL games, the BCS Fiesta Bowl and/or Super Bowl XLII.
I decided to create a site that I would want to check out, full of information from locals about the area and what is going on here, for NFL games or Super Bowl XLII, so AZ Super Bowl Blog was born.
