Calvin Pace now a Dolphin
photo courtesy of azcardinals.comAccording to SI.com the Miami Dolphins have signed now former Arizona Cardinals linebacker Calvin Pace. Bucky Brooks of SI.com says, “The financial terms haven’t been disclosed but is believed to include to include over $20 million in guaranteed money.”
I’ll start by saying Calvin Pace is good but not $20 million dollars in guarantee good. $20 million in guaranteed money is a bit much. The issue I’m having is if Arizona could have worked a deal with Larry Fitzgerald and Karlos Dansby early on, the Cards would have had money to sign Calvin at a cheaper price before he got to free agency. I’m not going to panic yet, Cardinal fans have been in worst situations. Let’s just wait and see how this all works itself out. But yes, for the moment I am disappointed.
