Breezy Hits the Blue Notes
Hot damn sam! Bryz! gave St.Louis a taste of the Russian blues. Back to form and seriously on guard duty, our big dawg shut the door, locked it and threw away the key in this game. 35 sogs, playing without a stick, playing snow angel and just plain playing out of his mind for the shutout win. Simply stunning performance.

Weekend Update
It was a successful weekend for the Sun Devils. Both men's and women's basketball teams beat Washington this weekend and the #1 ranked baseball team opened the season by sweeping the DeMarini Invitational.The men's basketball team won an impressive, if relatively unexciting, road game at Washington Saturday afternoon in which James Harden once again led the Devils with 25 points and 8 boards. The game isn't quite over yet but the outcome was decided almost before tipoff. Quite simply, the Suns didn't show up to play and the Pistons did. Detroit executes very well on every play, on both ends of the floor. At this point, I'm not so sure they even need a head coach. The Rocky Road Continues
The forecheck was back, shaky and inconsistent but it made some key appearances. Both goalies made tremendous and valiant efforts all night long. A 12 man shoot out has to be the most stunning and grueling game a goalie can face. It was a spectacular end to this game. Unfortunately it shouldn’t have come to that kind of an ending.
