D’Backs starter Juan Gutierrez was perfect over two innings, but hot prospect Max Scherzer gave up three runs in two innings-including two home runs. He also threw a wild pitch.

Emilio Bonifacio, who got hit in the head Tuesday, did not play Wednesday. He says he’ll be alright. But he hopes it doesn’t happen again. We hope so, too.
