Brandon Webb worked on his curveball yesterday. Good news: he K’d 5 while BB’ing none. Bad news: he gave up 4 earnies. Worse news: Other pitchers combined to give up 6 more runs, so the D’Backs lost to the Mariners 10-7.

Good News: Chris Burke went 2-3 and got 3 RBI’s, Augie Ojeda went 2-3 and got 2 RBI’s and Orlando Hudson went 1-3 and got 2 RBI’s.

Bad News: Eric Byrnes went 0-2 and got HBP. Good News: He got his first BB of the spring.
