Playing for the Cardinals will do strange things to a guy
It was a bad week for former Arizona Cardinals players and drugs. Dyshod Carter, a cornerback who played in Arizona from 2004 to 2005, was one of 5 individuals arrested in Glendale while attempting to purchase 7 kilos of cocaine from an undercover government agent. Troy Hambrick, a running back for the Cards in 2004, was sentenced to 5 years in prison after he pleaded guilty in February to charges of selling 50 grams or more of crack cocaine. And last and least, 3-time Pro Bowl tackle Luis Sharpe, who spent his entire career with the Cardinals, was sentenced to 6 years in prison for drug offenses. But it could have been worse Cardinal fans–one of them could have been photographed with young women in bikinis while holding a beer bong….gasp!!!
