With Brandon Webb looking to improve to 10-0 we thought it would be interesting to compare his first 9 wins to the only other pitcher to start a season with 9 consecutive wins since World War II.

To put it plain and simple the stats tell the story here. Brandon Webb is better in ever statistic accept for walks. Webb’s 9-0 start is easily the most impressive since World War II the question is whether or not Webb can tie Hawkins as the only pitcher to start a season 10-0 since WWII.
