The Starter: Headlines You May Have Missed or Are To Lazy To Look For
(Rob Schumacher for USA TODAY) Good morning sports fans it’s time to take a look at what happened in the world of sports while you were sleeping (or at least while we were). Apparently Britney Spears doesn’t do much sleeping but has a video camera around at all times, sports weren’t the only competition as the American Idol finale pitted David vs. David, the guy who created N’Sync and the Backstreet Boys was sentenced to 25 years in prison (That’s all for unleashing those two monstrosities on society?) and sorry guys but Jessica Alba is off the market but now onto what you came here for, the sports:
- Have eligibility left? UofA is looking for a few warm bodies to fill their roster
- Another ex NBAer with no head coaching experience wants to be the next Suns head coach (Bring on the draft lottery in ‘09)
- Diamondbacks’ pitchers make sweet music in a storage room
- Pat Murphy likes the Wildcats?
- Desert Vista track kicks ass (at least we think that’s what the kids would say these days)
- Is it too late for Mike D’Antoni to choose Chicago?
