Every Monday (for the past three weeks and counting) we name the top 5 news makers in Arizona sports for the week prior. These can be either good or bad for Arizona Sports. Heck, they can be former players, coaches, opposing teams, etc. We call this the super, ultimate, face crushing, Arizona Sports Power Players Poll of the week!

The mini-drama has been extinguished for ASU’s Wrestling program. After being cut by Lisa Love, two weeks ago, the Wrestling program was able to raise the $8 million that was required to fully reinstate the program. |

UofA Softball gets hot at the right time and puts together a 5-0 run to end the regular season, followed by a 5-1 showing in the postseason to advance to the WCWS. |
