Hornacek to land on Porter’s coaching staff?
Jeff Hornacek, one of the most popular player in the history of the Phoenix Suns, could be coming back to the Valley as an assistant coach. According to the Des Moines Register, Suns general manager Steve Kerr said “we are going to talk to him about our staff as an assistant. I have to sit down with Terry Porter and we have to figure out what he needs on the staff.”
Hornacek has been serving as a special assistant with the Utah Jazz. He played for the Suns from 1986 to 1992. He also interviewed for the Suns’ and Chicago Bulls’ head coaching positions.
