Nixon dealt to Mets

By Vince Marotta, June 14th, 2008 8:47 PM

Photo: James VenesTrot Nixon, who had spent the entire season in Tucson, with the Triple-A Sidewinders, won’t see any action with the Diamondbacks after all. Strapped with all kinds of injuries to their outfielders, the Mets traded for Nixon in exchange for either cash or a player to named later.

Nixon batted .309 with 10 homers and 31 RBI in 58 games with Tucson.
