2 Out Of 3 Is Bad!
C’mon, guys! Even if one wants to say that, over-all, the American League is stronger and has traditionally done better in Interleague play, this is ridiculous! The KC Royals are in last place in the AL Central. They got to .400 by beating you 2 of 3.
Yeah, you are still in first place, and still over .500, but only 4 over; you were 11 games over .500 a month ago. And now you drop two out of three to …Kansas City? You guys are giving first place a bad name!
I know you can’t win ‘em all. I know the bullpen is hurting and you just aren’t the same team without Eric Byrnes. You aren’t. (Face it, you “fans” who regret his contract extension! Yeah, you! His being gone isn’t the whole reason things are bad, but the energy just isn’t the same).
Whatcha goin’ ta do against Oakland and Boston when you can’t sweep Kansas City?
