How much money can wasted potential get you?
That’s the question former Arizona Wildcat forward Chris Dunn decided to ask.
Dunn, a former Lute Olson recruit, had to leave the program in 2003 due to poor academics. He has decided to sell his 2003 Pac-10 championship ring. The ring was placed on Ebay.com in early June with the description:
“THIS IS A PAC 10 CHAMPIONSHIP BASKETBALL RING FROM ARIZONA. THE RING WEIGHS 38 GRAMS AND IS A SIZE 10 1/4. THE STONES ARE CZ’S. THE RING IS MADE OF 10K GOLD AND IS INSCRIBED ON THE INSIDE CHRIS DUNN. THIS IS FROM 2003 AND IT ALSO STATES ELITE EIGHT. HAPPY BIDDING!!”
Bidding came to an end yesterday and with a grand total of 4 bids. The winner paid a whopping $860.00.
Congratulations Chris Dunn you turned a free ride to college into $860.00…that takes some skill.
