Stream of Consciousness Catch-up

Congratulations to Brandon Webb and Dan Haren, who will represent the Diamondbacks in the 2008 All-Star Game.

Congrats also to Randy Johnson on his 289th win. ‘Bout time! Thanks to the bullpen for not blowing this one.

Congrats also to Doug Davis and Yusmeiro Petit for their great efforts last time out, even though the EOSB* messed them up.

Justin Upton: Good on you for that mammoth homer, the second longest in the history of Chase Field.

Thank Goodness, Chris Snyder does not need surgery on the family jewels. Take care and we’ll see you back soon.

Juan Cruz is on the DL with the oblique problem. Juan, that was last year’s big injury in MLB. Didn’t you get the memo? Cuidado, Juan. And we’ll see you back soon.

If the National League were all one league instead of 3 divisions, the Diamondbacks would be the seventh place. As it stands they now share the western division lead with the Dodgers, LA having just won tonight while the D’Backs were traveling to D.C.

BEAT LA! Anybody…Anytime!

18-17 - Rockies over Marlins. Hey, Colorado and Florida, it ain’t football season yet!

Sabathia to the Brewers: Milwaukee fans must be delighted. The team is going for it NOW!

Cleveland: What a difference a year makes, huh?

I keep rubbing my eyes, but I see the same thing: Tampa Bay in first place, 4 games up on the Red Sox! Who’da thunk it! Not even the folks in Tampa Bay.

How about a Tampa Bay-Milwaukee World Series? The Networks’ll love it…NOT!
