The Arizona Cardinals and Del Taco are teaming up to give Cardinals fans heartburn.

No, Del Taco isn’t planning on beating the Cardinals in the fourth quarter on some fluke play. They are planning to give free tacos to fans in a program called “Tacos for Tickets”. After every win at home fans in attendance can take their ticket stub to participating Del Tacos for a free classic taco.

Too bad this promotion didn’t take place back in the Sun Devil stadium days. Those five games a year on average that the Cardinals won would have meant scalpers would at least get a free taco for the hundreds of tickets they couldn’t sell.
