The News: According to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution report, an Atlanta area woman has accused Shaquille O’Neal of stalking and threatening her. The woman says Shaq allegedly made harassing phone calls in which he would breathe heavily into the phone before hanging up and threatened to ruin her music career and cause her physical harm. The conduct by O’Neal was a direct result of the accuser ending an intimate relationship with the Suns star two months ago.

The woman was granted a restraining order against O’Neal.

O’Neal is required to appear in court in Georgia on Sept. 4.

The View: It’s interesting news seeing as earlier this month Shaq’s wife Shaunie said that their marriage was on the rebound. For Shaq’s marriage sake I hope the allegations are found to be false after further review.

Although the mental image of a 7″ 1′ guy stalking someone is funny this is no laughing matter. If it is true Shaq and the Suns could be in for an interesting season.
