The Fight Doctor is leaving us? Our radio colour analyst Louie Debrusk got a new job back in Edmonton! Apparently our Louie is going to be the new TV color commentator.
EDMONTON - Former Edmonton Oilers tough guy Louie DeBrusk will be the new SportsNet TV colour commentator on the team’s broadcasts this NHL season.
DeBrusk, who had worked four years as the Phoenix Coyotes radio colour analyst, replaces Ray Ferraro who is reportedly moving to TSN to replace Glenn Healy who left the network to work for the NHL Players’ Association. DeBrusk will be working with play-by-play man Kevin Quinn.

The first rookie game on 9/16 will be webcast!!!
Phoenix Coyotes Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer Michael Bucek announced today that the Coyotes will webcast the first of their two rookie games versus the Los Angeles Kings on phoenixcoyotes.com. The game, which is free and open to the public, will take place at Jobing.com Arena on Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 6:00 p.m.

We got a new western pro scout!
GLENDALE, ARIZONA — Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have hired Eric Lacroix as Western Pro Scout.
Lacroix, 36, served as assistant coach of the Sundogs when they captured the 2008 Ray Miron President’s Cup as champions of the CHL. One of two principle owners, he helped found the Sundogs in 2005 after working in the Colorado Avalanche organization for four years, where he first served as the assistant coach responsible for video scouting and later was promoted to Director of Hockey Operations.
