COYOTES ROOKIES TO PLAY LA KINGS ROOKIES

AT JOBING.COM ARENA

GLENDALE, ARIZONA — Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that 22 Phoenix Coyotes’ rookies will play two games against the Los Angeles Kings’ rookies on Tuesday, Sept. 16 (6 p.m.) and Wednesday, Sept. 17 (2 p.m.). Both games will be played at Jobing.com Arena and are open to the public.

Coyotes Managing Partner-Head Coach Wayne Gretzky will be behind the bench for a team that includes center Kyle Turris, Hobey Baker Award-winner Kevin Porter and Brett MacLean. The club’s two first round selections in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, Mikkel Boedker and Viktor Tikhonov, will also be in the lineup.
