The Phoenix Suns are going solar. US Airways Centers’ parking garage will soon have enough solar panels generating enough energy to power the arena for 26 games.

When you think about it for a moment, this is pretty amazing stuff, the kind of thing we would see on the Jetsons as kids or our parents saw at the World’s Fair. Being that we live in an area known as the Valley of the Sun(s,) it makes perfect sense.

Good for the Suns franchise for taking the lead in the renewable energy effort.
