This week Amare Stoudemire has been the subject of many “feel good” off season filler articles with titles like Stoudemire Fired Up and Stoudemire Likes Suns New Direction.
The most interesting Amare article though doesn’t come from the local media. No, it comes from SLAM Online’s Todd Spehr. Todd takes a hard look at the “truths and myths” of Stoudemire’s game and compares him to the Magic’s Dwight Howard.

There’s no question in my mind Amare’s a better player than Dwight. While Dwight is definitely the better rebounder, he and Amare don’t even compare when it comes to the offensive end (as Todd nicely points out).
