Receiver Anquan Boldin had surgery on his fractured sinus and has been officially ruled out for this Sunday vs. Buffalo.  Doctors have said this is an surgery from which there is a fairly quick recovery.  By having the surgery, coach Ken Whisenhunt stated this gave Boldin the best chance to come back quickly. 

Also out for the second week in a row is Bertrand Berry and Adrian Wilson.  Neither player practiced on Friday.  It makes sense not to play them if they havent practiced.  I like that policy, although Whisenhunt claims it is still a game time decision on both of them.
